Amazing substitute for standard sweet vermouths, but even great on it's own with a twist of citrus.

It's like a Manhattan, only with Amer Picon instead of bitters.

Ingredients | Carpano Antica Vermouth Cocktails

1 ½ cups ice

2 fluid ounces rye whiskey

1 fluid ounce sweet vermouth

⅛ tablespoon Amer Picon

1 Maraschino cherry, for garnish

Directions

Put ice in a cocktail shaker. Pour in whiskey, sweet vermouth, and Amer Picon. Shake or stir, and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry (or a twist of lemon).
